The first time I had dinner here was in 1991. I loved the place. My wife and I frequented the restaurant on many occasions. With the many new restaurants in the area, I changed up. Tonight I was going to a different restaurant when I remembered that Ok Heidelberg Cafe was here. So, I came in and I am glad I did. The food was delicious, the service was great. I will be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful meal.🎆🌠🎇

This is one of my favorite German places to go. The schnitzel (all types), red cabbage, German potato salad (hot and cold), and pan fried potatoes are all good. Always get the cucumber salad! And the desserts are so good you need on, even if it's just to take home. There's a whole display full of them! And if course the have I've cold German beer on tap, from small to extra large. Plus the ambiance is nice. It's got that German feel. Overall it's a great place to go as a couple or with a group. Just be prepared to be so stuffed it's hard to get much done after.

I was visiting from the D.C. area and happend upon this place while looking for something to eat. Unlike most German restaurants this one truly made me think I was back in Germany. The food was exactly as I remembered from my days when I was stationed over there. The staff was great and the beer was good. Highly recommend this place if you are in Huntsville.

Questions & Answers

I believe so, everything was fresh and authentic.

Yes.

The restaurant feels a little small when you walk in, but they have a surprising amount of space well used. Even without reservations, the wait usually isn't long.

From what I recall, most menu items come with a choice of garden salad or cucumber salad, choice of pan fried potatoes or warm potato salad, and red cabbage. I don't really recall the specific price of the menu items, but I think most things are in the $9 to $13 range.

A little on the higher side I felt. But, the portions are so big that the prices ultimately feel very reasonable
